YouTube earnings start around video 7–15
If you had to start from zero on YouTube tomorrow — no money, no followers, no channels — this is exactly how you would make my first $1,000 again.
Week 1: Pick a niche people search for a lot
you would choose a topic that always has demand and low competition, like:
side hustles
making money online
faceless YouTube automation
phone flipping
local lead generation
These topics always get views, and people watch longer videos in these niches.
Week 2: Make 10 videos in one week (simple, fast, no face needed)
you would:
Record with your phone or free screen recorder like OBS
Use your own voice or a free AI voice
Create thumbnails in Canva using bold text and simple images
Use strong titles like:
“I Tried ___ For 30 Days and Made $___”
“Do This To Make $100/Day With No Money”
you would upload 2 videos per day for 5 days. At the beginning, posting more matters more than perfect quality.
Week 3: Use simple SEO + honest clickbait
Each video would include:
A main keyword in the title, first sentence of the description, and video file name
A length of 8–15 minutes to increase watch time
A strong hook in the first 5 seconds, like:
“I started with $0 and made $1,247 in 21 days — here’s proof.”
End screens and cards that push viewers to another video
Make money from day one (no need for 1,000 subscribers anymore)
you would upload the same videos to other platforms that pay quickly:
Facebook Reels
TikTok Creativity Program
These platforms can pay even when your audience is small, so you start earning while your YouTube channel grows.
YouTube earnings start around video 7–15
Once you get around 5,000–10,000 total views, you would start making money from:
YouTube ads
Affiliate links in descriptions (Amazon, ClickBank, etc.)
One or two videos getting good views can easily make the first $1,000.
Total time needed: about 3–6 weeks
you have restarted from zero before after losing channels, and the strategy still works:
Give people value, show results, upload consistently, improve titles and thumbnails, and the money follows.
Start messy. Start now. Improve later.
Speed is the biggest advantage when you’re starting with nothing.
