  • Heavy Rain and Storms: Isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds (30-60 km/h) is expected in several regions from March 31 to April 2, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and parts of southern India.

  • Heatwave Conditions: Heatwave conditions are likely in isolated pockets of interior Odisha on March 30, with hot and humid weather expected in parts of Assam, Tripura, and coastal Gujarat through April 2.

  • Warnings: The IMD has categorized alerts into orange and yellow warnings based on the severity of the weather. Orange alerts indicate high health concerns due to heat exposure, while yellow alerts suggest moderate health concerns.

Residents in affected areas are advised to stay indoors during storms, keep hydrated during heatwaves, and take precautions against potential hail damage to crops and structures.
