Tom Latham completes 2,000 runs in away ODIs


During the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy opener against Pakistan, New Zealand's Tom Latham achieved a milestone by completing 2,000 runs in away ODIs. He is the fifth New Zealand batter to reach this mark, joining Ross Taylor, Kane Williamson, Stephen Fleming, and Martin Guptill. Latham achieved this feat in 60 innings, averaging over 35, with three centuries and 14 fifties in away ODIs; his highest score is an unbeaten 110. Overall, in his 153rd ODI, Latham has surpassed 4,180 runs at an average of 34-plus, including 25 fifties and seven centuries. Since 2023, he has scored over 800 runs in 36 matches at an average of 26-plus.
