TikTok Returns to Apple and Google App Stores

WATCHMORE

TikTok has returned to the Apple and Google app stores in the U.S. following a temporary ban due to national security concerns. The app was removed from the stores on January 18 after a law requiring ByteDance, TikTok's Chinese parent company, to divest its U.S. operations or face a ban took effect.

President Donald Trump delayed the enforcement of the ban for 75 days, leading to the app's restoration. He also expressed interest in a deal where the U.S. government would hold a 50% stake in TikTok.

Potential buyers of TikTok include Oracle, Microsoft, and a group of American investors, with other interested parties like Frank McCourt and MrBeast also showing interest.
