Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, the spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslim community, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at age 88 in Lisbon, Portugal. As the 49th hereditary imam, he was considered a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad and led a global community of 12-15 million Ismaili Muslims.
