Two death after small plane crashes into California Warehouse

A small plane crashed into a furniture warehouse in Fullerton, California, resulting in two fatalities and multiple injuries. The single-engine Van's RV-10 aircraft crashed around 2:15 PM on Thursday, January 2nd, near the Fullerton Municipal Airport

Incident Specifics

The plane took off from Fullerton Municipal Airport and crashed less than two minutes later. Security camera footage captured the aircraft tilting sideways before crashing through the roof of Michael Nicholas Designs, a furniture manufacturing building, causing a significant explosion and thick smoke.
The pilot had communicated with air traffic control about an intention to make an emergency landing, but the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
