Tulip Siddiq resigned as UK Treasury Minister on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, amid an ongoing corruption probe related to her family's connections in Bangladesh. Despite being cleared by Sir Laurie Magnus, the independent adviser on ministerial standards, Siddiq stepped down to prevent becoming a "distraction" for the government.

White House fires National Security Agency chief
