Mass shooting in Queens leaves at least 10 people injured

A mass shooting occurred outside the Amazura nightclub in Jamaica, Queens on New Year's Day, leaving 10 people injured. The incident happened around 11:20 pm when three to four men fired approximately 30 gunshots into a crowd standing outside the venue

  • 10 victims (6 women, 4 men) aged 16-20 were shot
  • About 90 people were inside a private event at the time
  • Victims were transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen's Children Medical Center
  • All victims are expected to survive with non-life-threatening injuries

White House fires National Security Agency chief
