Dozens of cars taken off road after filling up with contaminated fuel at BP Garage

A BP petrol station on London Road in Rayleigh, Essex, has caused significant disruption after dispensing contaminated fuel. A local emergency fuel extraction service reported 40 vehicle breakdown cases since Monday

Technical Insights

Lee Pretlove, the emergency fuel extraction service operator, described the situation as a "crazy week" with continuous service calls. The AA warns that misfuelling can cause serious engine and plug damage.

White House fires National Security Agency chief
