President Donald Trump has officially ordered the United States to withdraw from the Paris Agreement for a second time, marking a significant move in his new term. This decision follows his first withdrawal in 2017, which was reversed by President Biden in 2021


Trump's administration argues that the agreement imposes unfair financial burdens on the U.S., particularly regarding commitments to aid developing nations


The withdrawal process is expected to take one year, during which the U.S. will cease its obligations under the accord

White House fires National Security Agency chief
