Coca Cola recalls drinks in Europe over 'higher levels' of chemical

                        Watchmore

Coca-Cola has initiated a recall of several soft drink products in Europe due to elevated levels of chlorate detected at its Belgian production facility.

The affected beverages include Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Minute Maid, and Fuze Tea, primarily impacting Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. While the company stated that the risk to consumers is low, chlorate exposure can pose health risks, particularly for children.

Consumers are advised to return affected products for a refund as Coca-Cola works with authorities to address the situation across other European nations.
