Britain experienced its coldest January night in 15 years, with temperatures plummeting to -18.7°C in Altnaharra, Scottish Highlands

This is the lowest January temperature since 2010, when the region previously recorded -22.3°C

White House fires National Security Agency chief

Watch more The White House has fired General Timothy Haugh, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and his deputy, Wendy Noble. Haugh also led U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing both offensive and defensive cyber operations.
