  • Received the Hall of Fame's Ford C. Frick Award in 2003
  • Known for his comedic performances in "Major League" and "Mr. Belvedere"

Legacy
The Brewers described his passing as "one of the most difficult days in Milwaukee Brewers history," noting that Uecker was "the soundtrack of our summers, the laughter in our hearts". Despite having an unremarkable six-season playing career with a .200 batting average, Uecker became a beloved figure in baseball and entertainment.
