Youtube tv raises monthly charge

YouTube TV has announced a price increase of $10, raising the monthly subscription cost from $72.99 to $82.99, effective January 13, 2025, for existing subscribers.

New users will see the updated rate immediately. This adjustment is attributed to "rising content costs" and follows a series of price hikes since the service's launch in 2017, when it started at $35 per month.

The increase aligns YouTube TV's pricing with competitors like Hulu + Live TV. Despite the higher costs, YouTube TV will maintain its offering of over 100 channels and features such as unlimited DVR storage
