'you' Season 5 Coming to Netflix in 2025

Netflix confirmed "You" Season 5 will be the series' final installment, premiering in 2025. Penn Badgley returns as Joe Goldberg in a season that brings him back to New York City to "enjoy his happily ever after" before facing threats from his past.

  • New cast additions include Madeline Brewer as Bronte and Nava Mau
  • Michael Foley and Justin Lo will serve as showrunners
The official synopsis teases that Joe's "perfect life" will be threatened by "ghosts of his past and his own dark desires". 
Sera Gamble, the show's creator, is stepping down as showrunner to focus on other projects, passing the torch to Foley and Lo.

White House fires National Security Agency chief

Watch more The White House has fired General Timothy Haugh, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and his deputy, Wendy Noble. Haugh also led U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing both offensive and defensive cyber operations. The reasons for their dismissal are unclear, but it follows a series of high-profile firings by the Trump administration,  including National Security Council staff members. Lt. Gen. William Hartman will serve as the acting NSA director, while Sheila Thomas becomes the acting deputy director .   Top Democrats have criticized the move, citing concerns about national security and the lack of explanation .
