Kyle Clifford, a 26-year-old man from Enfield, north London, pleaded not guilty to murdering Carol Hunt (61) and her daughters Hannah (28) and Louise (25), who were killed in a crossbow and knife attack at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire on July 9.
Clifford appeared via video link at Cambridge Crown Court and denied three murder charges, one count of false imprisonment, and two counts of weapon possession. He was also charged with raping Louise Hunt on the same day of the murders, though he has not yet entered a plea for that specific charge.
The victims were the wife and daughters of BBC racing commentator John Hunt. Louise was found bound, and both she and Hannah were reportedly shot with a crossbow, while their mother suffered fatal stab wounds.Clifford was taken into custody in July after an extensive search and is expected to stand trial in March.
