Trevor Lawrence injured on ugly hit


Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered a concussion from a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit by Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair during a game on December 1, 2024. 

The incident occurred as Lawrence was sliding to the ground, leading to Al-Shaair's ejection and a brawl between the teams. Lawrence was carted off the field but later reported feeling better. 

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson expressed relief that Lawrence would recover, although no timeline for his return has been announced

White House fires National Security Agency chief

Watch more The White House has fired General Timothy Haugh, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and his deputy, Wendy Noble. Haugh also led U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing both offensive and defensive cyber operations. The reasons for their dismissal are unclear, but it follows a series of high-profile firings by the Trump administration,  including National Security Council staff members. Lt. Gen. William Hartman will serve as the acting NSA director, while Sheila Thomas becomes the acting deputy director .   Top Democrats have criticized the move, citing concerns about national security and the lack of explanation .
