Syrian revolutionary flag

Following the recent rebel advances in Syria, the
Syrian revolutionary flag may soon become the official symbol of the country. Celebrations erupted in Damascus and other cities as crowds waved this flag, marking the end of President Bashar Assad's regime after over 50 years in power.

The revolutionary flag, which features green, white, and black stripes with three red stars, was adopted by opposition factions during the civil war and symbolizes a new era for Syria.

The shift reflects a significant political change as various factions vie for control and direction in post-Assad Syria .
