Grammy-nominated rapper Slowthai (Tyron Frampton) was cleared of raping two women at a house party in Oxford in September 2021.

After a two-week trial and over 10 hours of jury deliberation, he was found not guilty on three counts of rape alongside his co-defendant Alex Blake-Walker.

Key Details:
  • Frampton burst into tears upon hearing the verdict
  • His wife Anne-Marie was present and visibly relieved
  • The allegations stemmed from an incident following a performance at The Bullingdon
The prosecution claimed Frampton and Blake-Walker isolated two women at a house party and sexually assaulted them.

Frampton denied the charges, maintaining the encounters were consensual. Blake-Walker was also acquitted of a separate sexual assault charge.Judge Ian Pringle noted that the case had "raised a lot of high feelings" throughout the trial.
