Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler too good for LIV duo in the Showdown

Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler dominated the Showdown against LIV Golf's Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau in Las Vegas. They won convincingly across all three match play formats - four-ball, foursomes, and singles - securing a 3-0 victory.

As a reward, McIlroy and Scheffler won $10 million in cryptocurrency.Scheffler, who had an extraordinary year with nine championships including the Paris Olympics and Masters, noted, "I don't know much about cryptocurrency, but this definitely gives me a reason to learn more." McIlroy added, "We're extremely pleased to secure the win. It's a wonderful way to conclude the year."

White House fires National Security Agency chief

Watch more The White House has fired General Timothy Haugh, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and his deputy, Wendy Noble. Haugh also led U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing both offensive and defensive cyber operations.
