Rockets vs Warriors


The Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 99-93 on December 5, 2024, snapping a five-game losing streak. 

Jonathan Kuminga led the Warriors with a career-high 33 points, while Andrew Wiggins contributed 23 points. The Rockets struggled with shooting, finishing at 37.6% from the field, and could not capitalize on opportunities to take control of the game. 

This victory improved the Warriors' record to 13-8, while the Rockets fell to 15-8. Both teams are preparing for an upcoming rematch in the NBA Cup quarterfinals on December 11

White House fires National Security Agency chief

Watch more The White House has fired General Timothy Haugh, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and his deputy, Wendy Noble. Haugh also led U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing both offensive and defensive cyber operations. The reasons for their dismissal are unclear, but it follows a series of high-profile firings by the Trump administration,  including National Security Council staff members. Lt. Gen. William Hartman will serve as the acting NSA director, while Sheila Thomas becomes the acting deputy director .   Top Democrats have criticized the move, citing concerns about national security and the lack of explanation .
