Rain disrupted first day of the test match

Rain significantly disrupted the first day of the third Test between Australia and India at the Gabba in Brisbane, leading to play being called off after just 13.2 overs.

Australia ended the day at 28 runs without loss, with Usman Khawaja scoring 19 and Nathan McSweeney on 4.

India's captain, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and opted to field first, hoping to capitalize on the conditions. The match is crucial as the series is tied at 1-1, making this Test pivotal for both teams' prospects in the World Test Championship. Unfortunately, forecasts indicate that rain may continue to affect play over the next few days.
