Pereira as new boss after O'Neil

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in advanced talks to appoint Vitor Pereira as their new head coach following the dismissal of Gary O'Neil.

After a poor start to the season, which left Wolves 19th in the Premier League, O'Neil was sacked after a 2-1 loss to Ipswich. Wolves have reached a broad agreement with Al Shabab regarding Pereira's release, and he is expected to join the club within 24-48 hours.

Pereira, who has previously managed Porto and Olympiakos, aims to guide Wolves to Premier League survival
