Paris Hilton has been passionately advocating for the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act after experiencing significant trauma during her teenage years. She alleges she was subjected to abuse while at Provo Canyon School, including being "physically restrained, sexually abused, isolated, overmedicated, and stripped of my dignity"

Key Advocacy Efforts
  • Traveled to Washington D.C. every 6-10 months since October 2021
  • Testified before the House Ways and Means Committee
  • Lobbied senators and representatives across party lines
  • Shared her personal story to raise awareness
The bill, which passed unanimously in the Senate, aims to reform residential youth facilities and increase transparency.
Hilton described the Senate's unanimous passage as "one of the best moments of my life" and is now urging the House to pass the legislation before the current session ends."I won't stop fighting until change is made," Hilton stated. "This is my lifelong mission and I really believe it's my true purpose in life."
