Los Angeles Rams defeated the San Francisco 49ers 12-6.

In a low-scoring matchup on December 12, 2024, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the San Francisco 49ers 12-6.

The Rams secured their victory with four field goals from kicker Joshua Karty, marking a notable achievement as they won without scoring a touchdown for the first time since 2016.

The game was characterized by poor weather conditions and offensive struggles from both teams, with the 49ers leading 6-3 heading into the fourth quarter.

However, a critical interception by Rams cornerback Darious Williams off 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy helped shift momentum. This loss significantly impacted the 49ers' playoff hopes, leaving them at 6-8 for the season and marking their fourth loss in five games. The Rams improved to 8-6, remaining competitive in the NFC West standings.
