Historic victory


Olentangy Liberty achieved a historic victory by defeating Archbishop Moeller 28-14 in the OHSAA Division I state football championship, marking their first state title. 

The Patriots took an early lead with a touchdown from Jake Struck and a 20-yard pass from quarterback Andrew Leonard to Christian Moulton. Despite Moeller's efforts, including a defensive touchdown from Cooper Gearheat, Liberty maintained control, with Leonard throwing three touchdown passes to Moulton. 

The game showcased Liberty's strong performance, outgaining Moeller 387-223 and securing the championship at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
