Fifa world cup 2034
FIFA has officially designated Saudi Arabia as the host for the 2034 World Cup, making it the second Middle Eastern nation to host the tournament, following Qatar in 2022.
This decision was announced during an Extraordinary FIFA Congress on December 11, 2024. The tournament will feature 48 teams and will take place across 15 stadiums in five cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and NEOM.
The King Salman Stadium in Riyadh is expected to host both the opening and final matches. This event aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 plan to enhance its tourism sector and global presence.
