Everton vs Liverpool


The highly anticipated Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool, scheduled for December 7, 2024, has been postponed due to severe weather conditions caused by Storm Darragh. 




The match was set to take place at Goodison Park but was called off following a safety advisory due to expected wind gusts reaching up to 90 mph, which posed a "danger to life" according to the red weather warning issued.



Both clubs, along with local authorities, made the decision to prioritize safety for fans, staff, and players. Everton announced the postponement on social media, stating that further details regarding the rescheduling will be provided in due course.




 This match was particularly significant as it would have been the last league derby at Goodison Park before Everton moves to a new stadium next season.

White House fires National Security Agency chief
