Enron has been resurrected in what appears to be an elaborate joke

Enron has made a surprising return, coinciding with the 23rd anniversary of its bankruptcy, but it appears to be an elaborate joke.

A parody website and social media posts claim the company is back, promoting itself as a modern energy firm focused on solving global energy challenges.

However, the website explicitly states that it is a First Amendment protected parody and is intended for entertainment purposes only.

The project was initiated by a T-shirt manufacturer who acquired the Enron trademark and seems to be using it to market merchandise, rather than genuinely reviving the notorious brand. This revival has sparked discussions about corporate culture and social media's influence on perceptions, evoking mixed reactions from those familiar with Enron's scandalous history
