Elon Musk has made history


Elon Musk has made history by becoming the first individual to surpass a net worth of $400 billion, reaching approximately $447 billion as of December 12, 2024. 

This milestone was largely fueled by a significant insider share sale at SpaceX, which added around $50 billion to his fortune. Additionally, Tesla's stock hit an all-time high, contributing to Musk's wealth surge, which has seen an increase of about $218 billion this year alone. 

His financial gains have been further supported by the recent U.S. presidential election results, boosting investor confidence in his companies

White House fires National Security Agency chief

Watch more The White House has fired General Timothy Haugh, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and his deputy, Wendy Noble. Haugh also led U.S. Cyber Command, overseeing both offensive and defensive cyber operations. The reasons for their dismissal are unclear, but it follows a series of high-profile firings by the Trump administration,  including National Security Council staff members. Lt. Gen. William Hartman will serve as the acting NSA director, while Sheila Thomas becomes the acting deputy director .   Top Democrats have criticized the move, citing concerns about national security and the lack of explanation .
