Dr Mark Prince winer of the Helen Rollason award

Dr. Mark Prince won the Helen Rollason Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2024 for his remarkable work with the Kiyan Prince Foundation. After losing his son Kiyan to a stabbing in 2006, Prince transformed his grief into a powerful mission to combat knife violence through boxing.

At the ceremony in Salford, he was visibly moved, stating, "I'm usually not at a loss for words, but this moment is truly overwhelming."
