Country Delight’s “Farm Fresh” Milk – The Bit They Don’t Mention
Country Delight keeps saying their milk comes straight from the farm. Their adverts show rich, creamy milk and make it sound like drinking it will make you healthier. But there’s more to the story than they tell you.
Milk doesn’t go straight from the cow to your glass. It simply can’t.
Before it’s safe to drink, milk has to be collected, cooled, checked for quality, pasteurised to kill germs, properly balanced, and then packed in sealed containers.
That thick, creamy milk they about is high in fat. While it may taste nice, it isn’t ideal for everyone. Older people, especially, are often advised to drink lighter milk with less fat.
The adverts don’t explain any of this. They focus on the feel-good image and leave out the important facts. What they’re selling is a story, not the full truth.
The reality is simple: milk is only safe once it’s properly processed and sealed. And creamy milk isn’t always the healthiest choice for daily use, particularly as you get older.
In short: Don’t be taken in by catchy slogans. Choose milk based on what’s good for your health, not what looks appealing in an advert.
